Commercial Property Team
Chris Hill
HEAD OF PROPERTY D&F
London, United Kingdom
The Property D&F team insures clients’ properties for everything from fire to earthquakes. As head, I help guide our appetite for different types of clients and the capital we can offer. Our talented and diverse team is involved with all parts of our business and culture, and are encouraged to express their ideas and opinions. I love learning new things, reading books, podcasts, and even kite surfing – which is exhausting, but exhilarating.
Greg Benson
UNDERWRITER
London, United Kingdom
I am an Underwriter for the Property Direct and Facultative team. We draw on a wide range of experience from across the industry to provide insurance solutions for our clients and manage a well-balanced portfolio for our investors. We use data, knowledge and interpretation to analyse and price risk effectively. I like trying a whole range of sports – except golf. I’m bad at golf. I also enjoy reading, modern history and watching Arsenal win.

I like to consider myself as part of the furniture here at Inigo having joined just after the company started writing business in March 2021 – I’ve loved being a part of the growth of the company and the property book, building valuable knowledge and experience while doing so. I enjoy meeting with clients and learning about their business to build long term relationships. Recently, I’ve also gained experience working within General Liability, this will bring me closer to clients as I can assist with cross sell and understand the needs of their business more broadly than just property insurance (which is my first love). Before Inigo, I spent 4 years working on the US Property team at SCOR, where I started my career in the industry. Outside of work, travel is my passion and I’m a total foodie – whether that’s cooking or preferably just eating.

UNDERWRITER

I am an Underwriter working within the Property D&F team. I specialise in US domiciled risks with over a decade of experience within Lloyd’s and Company markets. Since joining Inigo, I’m impressed with our detailed, data-led approach to better understand our clients needs and forge long-term partnerships. Outside of work, I love to play sport having represented Lloyd’s Football and Cricket teams in the past. Now I limit myself to hacking it round a golf course whenever I get the chance.

I am an Assistant Underwriter for the Property D&F team. I thoroughly enjoy working with a diverse array of clients in providing insurance solutions that best suit their unique business needs. Since joining Inigo in 2022, the company continues to push forward with the use of data and analytics combined with experience to aid better underwriting decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy most sports but am a keen golfer, playing off a handicap of 6 and support Chelsea.

I am a D&F property underwriter with 9 years of experience in the London market at Inigo, Lancashire and Canopius. I enjoy building relationships with our clients and maintaining the partnerships throughout market cycles and the challenges they possess. Aside from insurance I enjoy long walks with the dog, I make my own curtains and I’ll try my hand at any sporting activity!

I work as an Assistant Underwriter in the Property team. After achieving a BSc Physics degree at the University of Bristol I started my career at Lancashire Insurance where I worked for 4 years before joining Inigo. I originally started in Terrorism and Political Risk before moving into D&F in 2020 where I have since done a mix of Delegated Authority and Open Market. Outside work I am always enthusiastic to do new things in new places whether that be surfing in Norway or listening to a new book on some random hilltop.
Charlie Russell-Vick
OPERATIONS ANALYST, PROPERTY
London, United Kingdom
I joined Inigo in 2022 having graduated from the University of Exeter. After completing an internship in the Political Violence & Terrorism team, I now work as an Operations Analyst within the Property D&F LOB. I primarily help to oversee the ‘life cycle’ of a policy through our systems from pre to post binding. Sitting between Operations and the Property D&F underwriting team I help ensure that our data is accurate, and our processes are efficient, to service Inigo’s growing ambition to be market lead in data and analytics and radical simplicity. Outside of work I am avid sports fan, particularly football and Liverpool FC.
Christian Watson
Operations Analyst
London, United Kingdom
I joined Inigo at the end of 2023 having previously worked outside the insurance industry running my own business. I am currently learning the trade as an Operations Analyst sitting between Operations and the Property D&F underwriting team. As an OA I help ensure that our data is accurate, and our processes are efficient to service Inigo’s growing ambition to be a market leader, with data and analytics at the forefront of that ambition.

The Inigo Claims Experience
Visit any insurance company, and you’ll see promises about claims expertise and efficiency. To be frank, that should go without saying.
To us, a high-quality claims experience means so much more.
It’s about appreciating everyone is different and understanding your unique challenges. It’s about building a partnership on the foundations of a refreshingly human approach. One that trusts us to lead the way, take decisive action and be a calming influence – when and while you need us.
And it’s about proactively working to benefit everyone through insightful data analysis and creating innovative, bold solutions based on the lessons learned.
And yes. These core principles are underpinned by our responsive, nimble and expert claims team – empowered to make the right decisions at the right time to provide the best possible outcome.
Because some things really shouldn’t remain unsaid.

Perry Bowen
HEAD OF FIRST PARTY & REINSURANCE CLAIMS
London, United Kingdom
I joined Inigo in November 2023 bringing more than 20 year’s experience in the Lloyds claims market. I have in recent years held senior claims roles at Ki/Brit, Pioneer and Arch with a strong focus on all 1st party classes. I am proud to work with underwriters who see the claims value proposition in order to retain and grow their wider business. I am also keen to promote the claims function of a syndicate as a great career choice to younger entrants to the London insurance market. In my spare time I like to watch most sports (Tottenham Hotspur when they win) and get on my Peloton for a workout at every opportunity.
James Bradley
FIRST PARTY CLAIMS ANALYST
London, United Kingdom
I made the switch from personal lines broking at A Plan Insurance, just after the pandemic to join Inigo as a First Party Claims Analyst in March 2022. I specialise in open market Property D&F, Political Violence and Terror, Onshore Energy and Mining claims. My aim is to learn from the claims experience and collaborate with Underwriters to provide informed decision making, based on the real world examples that support the underlying data. With a range of knowledge built up in a relatively short time in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market, I bring management experience in previous client facing roles to engage and rally the insurance market to provide the best possible outcome.
