UNDERWRITER
I am an Underwriter working within the Property D&F team. I specialise in US domiciled risks with over a decade of experience within Lloyd’s and Company markets. Since joining Inigo, I’m impressed with our detailed, data-led approach to better understand our clients needs and forge long-term partnerships. Outside of work, I love to play sport having represented Lloyd’s Football and Cricket teams in the past. Now I limit myself to hacking it round a golf course whenever I get the chance.
Kathrine McIlroy
Line Underwriter
I am a Lead Underwriter on the Property D+F Team responsible for handling North American business with a focus on Industrial Risks. I have experience as a prior retail and wholesale broker in the USA and UK working with large complex global clients. My love of insurance started at University; I have a degree in Risk Management from The University of Georgia. I enjoy travelling, finding the best kept secret London restaurants, and taking a stab at DIY during my free time.
Donald Gordon
I am an underwriter in the Property D&F Team here at Inigo with over 10 years experience in the Lloyd’s market. I’m also a qualified actuary and love the combination of portfolio management and carving out specific deals that suit clients’ needs. Recreationally I love most ball sports, running, watching my kids grow up and the occasional bit of rock climbing.
Claudia Williams
I am a D&F property underwriter with 9 years of experience in the London market at Inigo, Lancashire and Canopius. I enjoy building relationships with our clients and maintaining the partnerships throughout market cycles and the challenges they possess. Aside from insurance I enjoy long walks with the dog, I make my own curtains and I’ll try my hand at any sporting activity!
Abigail Seakens
I like to consider myself as part of the furniture here at Inigo having joined just after the company started writing business in March 2021 – I’ve loved being a part of the growth of the company and the property book, building valuable knowledge and experience while doing so. I enjoy meeting with clients and learning about their business to build long term relationships. Recently, I’ve also gained experience working within General Liability, this will bring me closer to clients as I can assist with cross sell and understand the needs of their business more broadly than just property insurance (which is my first love). Before Inigo, I spent 4 years working on the US Property team at SCOR, where I started my career in the industry. Outside of work, travel is my passion and I’m a total foodie – whether that’s cooking or preferably just eating.
Ed Boyd-Wallis
I work as an Assistant Underwriter in the Property team. After achieving a BSc Physics degree at the University of Bristol I started my career at Lancashire Insurance where I worked for 4 years before joining Inigo. I originally started in Terrorism and Political Risk before moving into D&F in 2020 where I have since done a mix of Delegated Authority and Open Market. Outside work I am always enthusiastic to do new things in new places whether that be surfing in Norway or listening to a new book on some random hilltop.
Callum Barrett
I am an Assistant Underwriter for the Property D&F team. I thoroughly enjoy working with a diverse array of clients in providing insurance solutions that best suit their unique business needs. Since joining Inigo in 2022, the company continues to push forward with the use of data and analytics combined with experience to aid better underwriting decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy most sports but am a keen golfer, playing off a handicap of 6 and support Chelsea.
Lucy Martin
I am an Assistant Underwriter for the Property D&F team. Having graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class in Biomedical Sciences, I endeavour to use my analytical and data-oriented mindset to make informed underwriting decisions. Outside of work, I love to travel. In fact, I have just returned from a 6 month stint in Australia! I am also a big Arsenal fan so I tend to spend my weekends frequenting the Emirates Stadium alongside continually hunting for new restaurants!
Hideki Itabashi
Underwriter
I joined Inigo as an Assistant Underwriter in September 2024, after 3 years at Willis servicing Japanese clients across all lines of business. With a background in statistics, I am excited to approach underwriting with a technical lens. I enjoy working in Inigo’s vibrant and collaborative environment, with everyone focusing on delivering for our clients using our proprietary analytics and insights. Outside of work, I am mainly playing or watching sports. I currently captain my rugby team London Japanese RFC, plus I enjoy swimming and a bit of golf on the side. I moved to London from Tokyo when I was 5, and I have been supporting Arsenal since.

Pricing Actuary
I joined Inigo in September 2022 as a Pricing Actuary working in Fist Party pricing. I bring Property pricing experience from personal lines having worked at RAC, Lloyds Banking Group and British Gas and also London Market at Axis Capital. As a lead Pricing Actuary for Property D&F I make sure our pricing models are up to date and work closely with underwriters and the rest of the business to provide insights and data for better understanding risk.
Ian Powell
Wording Specialist
With a career spanning both insurance brokerage and underwriting, I began at Willis Faber and Dumas in the Oil and Gas Division, followed by roles at CT Bowring (Marsh) and Alexander Howden (Aon). I then transitioned to underwriting, joining Liberty Syndicates, and later worked with Markel before landing at Inigo. While my core expertise lies in North American Property, I have also worked across International Property, Liability, Contingency, Space, and more. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong sailor, though never a competitive racer. Lately, I’ve developed a passion for cars, which is becoming an exciting (and expensive) hobby. I also love traveling and exploring the many beautiful corners of the world.
Valuable insights from claims data often lie buried and untouched in thousands of reports and surveys. We prioritise transforming this vast amount of information into actionable knowledge in our bespoke D&A and MI platforms.
By analysing past claims data to identify trends and pinpoint the root causes of losses, we can develop preventative strategies and improve future underwriting decisions. It also enables us to tell better stories about preventative technologies, and develop deeper risk management solutions that are innovative, unique and reflect Claims’ critical position as the core of our business.

HEAD OF FIRST PARTY CLAIMS
I joined Inigo in November 2023 bringing more than 20 year’s experience in the Lloyds claims market. I have in recent years held senior claims roles at Ki/Brit, Pioneer and Arch with a strong focus on all 1st party classes. I am proud to work with underwriters who see the claims value proposition in order to retain and grow their wider business. I am also keen to promote the claims function of a syndicate as a great career choice to younger entrants to the London insurance market. In my spare time I like to watch most sports (Tottenham Hotspur when they win) and get on my Peloton for a workout at every opportunity.
James Bradley
CLAIMS ANALYST
I made the switch from personal lines broking at A Plan Insurance, just after the pandemic to join Inigo as a First Party Claims Analyst in March 2022. I specialise in open market Property D&F, Political Violence and Terror, Onshore Energy and Mining claims. My aim is to learn from the claims experience and collaborate with Underwriters to provide informed decision making, based on the real world examples that support the underlying data. With a range of knowledge built up in a relatively short time in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market, I bring management experience in previous client facing roles to engage and rally the insurance market to provide the best possible outcome.
