UNDERWRITER
I am a Political Violence and Terrorism Senior Underwriter, working on providing security, continuity and confidence so our clients can continue working and thriving in this ever-changing world. To do this, the team stays up-to-date with geopolitics and works together to find innovative solutions to our clients’ needs. I qualified as a ski Instructor in Canada, and love hitting the slopes as often as I can throughout winter.
Henry Sloan
As Underwriter for the Political Violence & Terrorism team, I review and underwrite accounts submitted by our broking partners, and decide if they are within our underwriting appetite. If so, I price up terms. I am a long-suffering Peterborough Utd fan, and a very keen, albeit average golfer with an 11 handicap. My golfing career peaked with a round of 73 at Royal West Norfolk, where I three-putted the 18th. I’m still kicking myself.
Bea Kulak
I am an Assistant Underwriter in the Political Violence and Terrorism team. My role is to review accounts, and price them according to risk and appetite. I am a Politics graduate from Newcastle University, I spend most of my spare time planning my next travels.
Valuable insights from claims data often lie buried and untouched in thousands of reports and surveys. We prioritise transforming this vast amount of information into actionable knowledge in our bespoke D&A and MI platforms.
By analysing past claims data to identify trends and pinpoint the root causes of losses, we can develop preventative strategies and improve future underwriting decisions. It also enables us to tell better stories about preventative technologies, and develop deeper risk management solutions that are innovative, unique and reflect Claims’ critical position as the core of our business.

HEAD OF FIRST PARTY CLAIMS
I joined Inigo in November 2023 bringing more than 20 year’s experience in the Lloyds claims market. I have in recent years held senior claims roles at Ki/Brit, Pioneer and Arch with a strong focus on all 1st party classes. I am proud to work with underwriters who see the claims value proposition in order to retain and grow their wider business. I am also keen to promote the claims function of a syndicate as a great career choice to younger entrants to the London insurance market. In my spare time I like to watch most sports (Tottenham Hotspur when they win) and get on my Peloton for a workout at every opportunity.

CLAIMS ANALYST
I made the switch from personal lines broking at A Plan Insurance, just after the pandemic to join Inigo as a First Party Claims Analyst in March 2022. I specialise in open market Property D&F, Political Violence and Terror, Onshore Energy and Mining claims. My aim is to learn from the claims experience and collaborate with Underwriters to provide informed decision making, based on the real world examples that support the underlying data. With a range of knowledge built up in a relatively short time in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market, I bring management experience in previous client facing roles to engage and rally the insurance market to provide the best possible outcome.
Oshana Benotmane
I joined Inigo in 2023 having graduated from University College London studying the LLM with a focus on Corporate Governance and Marine Insurance. As Claims Analyst I primarily handle General Liability and Marine & Energy Claims. Outside of work I enjoy running the Saturday morning parkruns.
