Onshore
Energy Insurance

Energy is more politicised than ever before. Green solutions, fossil fuels, fracking and nuclear energy are sparking global debate, discontent and disruption – often leaving people and businesses on the frontline. And it’s likely to get worse before it gets better. Our specialist Onshore Energy insurance protects companies worldwide against property damage and business interruption, with a focus on the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, Japan and the UK.

We cover businesses at all facets of the onshore energy spectrum – from oil refining, mid-stream industries such as gas plants, terminals and distribution, petrochemicals and chemicals, power generation, to renewables.

Intrinsic to our underwriting capabilities is an unrivalled claims experience which sits at the centre of our Insurance and Reinsurance expertise.

HEAD OF ENERGY

London, United Kingdom

e: [email protected]

I joined Inigo to build the Energy book, comprised of Downstream Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals, and Power and Renewables lines. With an engineering background in the processing industries and risk management, my passion is understanding and measuring property damage and business interruption risks, and working out how we can tailor cover to satisfy our clients’ needs. I love to cycle whenever I get the chance. It’s the best exercise there is while sitting down.

And it’s about proactively working to benefit everyone through insightful data analysis and creating innovative, bold solutions based on the lessons learned.

And yes. These core principles are underpinned by our responsive, nimble and expert claims team – empowered to make the right decisions at the right time to provide the best possible outcome.

Because some things really shouldn’t remain unsaid.
